Sidewalk Improvements

Allstate Consultants has helped the City of Marceline develop a pedestrian travel enhancement which is centered around safety of the community’s youth.  The plan includes new sidewalks, street lighting and road crossings from the Marceline Public School to the City’s Disney Park area.  The path includes pedestrian improvements for areas frequented by school age children such as the Public School system, City Park, the downtown area, Father McCartan Memorial School, the ball fields, Disney Park, City Swimming Pool and the youth football practice field.  There is also a shelter Sidewalks will be replaced and widened with ADA accessibility also being a priority.  

Allstate Consultants coordinated with MODOT and the City of Marceline to develop a plan by which all material would be paid for with grant funds and City forces would complete the labor.
