Residential Development

Bristol Lake

Allstate Consultants provided planning, engineering, surveying and geotechnical services for Bristol Lake, a residential, office and commercial development in southeast Columbia, Missouri.

This project ultimately resulted in a new “diamond” interchange between Gans Road and U.S. Highway 63.  This project included a lengthy zoning and annexation process that included some of the most extensive storm water quality and quantity studies performed in Mid-Missouri.

The final development features A. Perry Philips Park, a regional city park centered around the 40 acre Philips Lake.  As part of the project, Allstate Consultants designed an extensive rehabilitation plan for the lake that included raising the existing dam to increase flood control capacity, constructing a series of infiltration swales and berms to improve water quality, and dredging the lake to improve fish habitat.
