Wastewater Engineering City of Ashland – Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements The City of Ashland, Missouri has in recent years experienced an increase in demand on their wastewater treatment facility stemming from population growth and effluent requirements. Planned wastewater treatment facility improvements will increase the capacity from 290,000 gallons per day to 490,000 gallons per day. The City, with assistance from Allstate Consultants LLC, was recently involved in a 2-year full-scale pilot study with Environmental Dynamics Inc. and their proprietary ATLAS-IS wastewater treatment system. The treatment facility improvements will include a modernized ATLAS-IS system developed from the pilot study. Professional services provided by Allstate Consultants LLC included preliminary planning, assistance with securing project funds, sewer rate evaluations, environmental assessments, permitting, and design and construction services . The expected cost of the project is estimated at $1.0 Million.
