MILAN, MO – Wastewater Treatment Facility

The City of Milan had developed a MDNR environmental enforcement problem with the existing City wastewater treatment facility prior to the selection of Allstate Consultants as the City’s Engineer.  Discharge permitting issues, economic impacts and other environmental concerns were evaluated with professional assistance by Allstate Consultants.  Through much effort, the City obtained a permit to construct a new wastewater treatment plant with attainable discharge limits.  Construction of a new 700,000 gallon per day wastewater treatment plant will begin in the fall/winter of 2008  with an expected probable cost of $3,500,000.
